At Dunwood, we’re not interested in creating a production line, where one couple walks out of the revolving door as another enters. We believe your day should be full of magic, stress-free and above all fun for everyone involved.
That’s why we only invite a select number of couples each year to get married at Dunwood, so we can give each one the attention it deserves.

3 Day wedding extravaganza
We want to ensure your time with us is as relaxed and as memorable as possible. And a big part of that is having enough time.
Day 1
We open the doors at 12pm (midday) the day before the wedding so you can set up at your leisure. You’re also welcome to hire out the dining room until midnight so you can celebrate the eve of the big day with close friends and family.
Day 2
The Morning
Dressed in wedding attire, a glass of champagne in hand, you watch your guests arrive from the window. There’s a hum of excited conversation, the laughter of bridesmaids and groomsmen. The walk down the aisle approaches.
The Day
You can hold your wedding ceremony at Dunwood Hall Music room, light airy Orangery or our stunning garden. Your wedding breakfast can be served in a candle-lit Dining Room or in Orangery. We’ll be on hand throughout the day.
The Evening
As dusk falls, fairy lights and festoon lighting sweep over the garden like stars, making it an entrancing space for guests to enjoy. In warmer weather they will want to mingle outside long after the evening arrives.
Day 3
Then, the day after the wedding, we want you to take your time and enjoy catching up with anyone you may have missed, so there’s no need to check out until 12 pm (midday).
How many people will be able to attend our event?
Dunwood Hall Estate is licensed for a maximum of 80 people for a ceremony and sit-down wedding breakfast during the day, and 110 during the evening. Prices start at £7,900 for a long weekend hire.

Wedding Locations
Anything-you-wish spaces
You might choose to marry in our bright, airy Orangery and then throw open the doors and head to the rose garden for a toast. Or you might prefer the intimacy of the Music Room for your ceremony followed immediately by a formal dinner in the Victorian Dining Room and speeches and photos by the pool. There’s even an oasis of calm in our comfortable Drawing Room – perfect for when Grandad needs a sit down and a nap.
Whether your love story lends itself to a dark romance, a flirty vintage feel, or a simple offbeat elegance, the style of Dunwood will suit you well. Should you dream of walking over grass along an aisle that overlooks a rolling landscape, in and amongst the most glorious of gardens, we can also accommodate this vision.
