Move into your own country estate for the weekend. Or plan a party for a loved one who enjoys a lark or a little dark glamour. We’ll open up our home to you from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon and you’ll be free to enjoy the mystique of Dunwood Hall.
Whatever the occasion, our on-site caterers will work with you to create a menu to suit all ages, preferences and requirements so you are free to enjoy the weekend at your own pace.
A Gothic home with endless character
Soak in the ambiance of our home with its oil paintings, lit fireplaces and stained glass ceilings. Our Grand Hall in which to welcome your guests, Victorian Dining Room, stylish Music Room, comfy Drawing Room and light airy Orangery. Choose how we set up each room and we’ll be able to change them around throughout the weekend depending on your plans.
Head out to our gardens to walk through the sunbeams passing through our rose garden, or lounge beside our 150 year old swimming pool. Our house and it’s grounds hold secrets around every corner.
Upon request we can also put up guests in our recently refurbished accommodation on the top floor of the house. So you can truly experience life in an English country home.
Turn make-believe into reality
Bring back the roaring 20s with a Great Gatsby themed fancy dress. Create your own Bridgerton with a string quartet and sophisticated tasting menu. Or throw a tuxedos-mandatory murder mystery that draws the guests into the action. The atmosphere of our home lends itself to all flights of imagination
Some of our guests are happy to simply relax in the Rose garden with their dogs and enjoy an intimate dinner, while others prefer to throw a large soiree. One thing’s for certain, you’ll never forget your days at Dunwood Hall.

If you need to Zoom in far flung family, or put on a romcom the night before the wedding, we can provide an indoor or outdoor cinema that does just that.
And what about if your best man decides he’d like to include some ‘hilarious’ photos in his speech? Well, then we can probably help him out too (unless you tell us not to of course!).
